Oil Painting Workshop Description, Beginners to Advanced

April 21-23, 2012 (Saturday-Monday) 3-Day Indoor/Outdoor Workshop; 9:30am-4:30pm
Tuition: $350

In this exciting indoor and outdoor painting workshop, you will learn what to select and what to take out of your paintings to make a strong design and statement. Daily morning demonstrations series, in oils from 9:30 am till noon, will give you an opportunity to see how a Master Artist works in a studio setting to perfect his outdoor studies and bring life to his photographs. The workshop is geared to all levels of artists.

Participants can work from their landscape photographs and/or outdoor studies. During the first two afternoons, Albert will give individual help in the studio at each artists easel, to help you achieve better studio paintings, the third afternoon, weather permitting, we will paint on location, at Shady Lakes – with its incredible variety of subject matter. The workshop will include daily critiques and artists can paint in any medium.

This workshop is sponsored by the Rio Grande Artists Association. The dates are Saturday-Monday, April 21-23, 2012 times 9:30 to 4:30.
